Correction of visual acuity is achieved by:
- Corrective eyeglasses and contact lenses for myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia.
- Removing presbyopia eyeglasses with contact lenses: (a) Monovision with contact lenses and (b) multifocal contact lenses.
- Refractive surgery.
At the same time, during the examination, intraocular pressure is measured, and the fundus is examined (optic nerve and central region ophthalmoscopy) and in the case of pathological findings then we proceed to normal fundus ophthalmoscopy.
